This Privacy Policy is written to apply to Talents Child Care Center (“TCCC”, “we” or “our”).

Your use of this website or providing us with personal information means you agree to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and any updates we make. You will know that changes have been made to this Privacy Policy by a change in the effective date. We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at our discretion and at any time.

TCCC Online Security

Physical, electronic and managerial procedures have been employed to safeguard the security and integrity of personal information. The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of information sent to us electronically and transmission of such data is entirely at your own risk.

Personal Information that TCCC May Collect Online

TCCC collects personal information submitted by you through the online academy inquiry form, preliminary questionnaire, subscribing to parenting essentials newsletter forms, and other submission methods. This may include information such as name, date of birth, gender, e-mail, address, telephone number, or financial information. You may opt-out of any future communication by email, phone or otherwise if you wish.

We collect information from and about users of our website, including information that is about your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our website, and usage details.

How TCCC Uses Personal Information Collected

Unless you otherwise direct us, we will use personal information you provide only to fulfill or meet the reason for which the information is provided such as subscription to our newsletter, replying to your emails, responding to your complaints and processing inquiries about franchise sales and development. Our research may lead to the publication of aggregate demographical data but will not result, with the exception of the examples listed below, in the reporting or publication of any personal information provided to us.

How Your Information May Be Shared

In order to process a complaint or inquiry, the information will be forwarded to the appropriate corporate department or franchised academy for review and resolution. If you direct us to share your information with Franchisees, that information will be subject to franchisee privacy practices which may be different from ours. We never sell or rent your personal information. We may share your information with our trusted service providers to allow us to provide our services and to communicate with you. Such third parties have access to personal information as needed to perform their functions, but they are not allowed to use it for other purposes. We use contractual or other means to protect your personal information disclosed to such third parties.

TCCC may also disclose personal information under the following circumstances:

  • To appropriate governmental authorities if disclosure is required by law (for example, a subpoena) or regulation or is requested by a government agency;
  • To appropriate governmental authorities if our records indicate an individual may be engaged in fraudulent activity or other deceptive practices that a governmental agency should be made aware of;

Computer Tracking, Cookies and Web Beacons

Our website is not set up to track, collect or distribute personal information not entered by visitors. Our site logs do generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data, such as the number of hits and visits to our sites. This information is used for internal purposes by technical support staff to provide better services to the public and may also be provided to others, but, the statistics retained contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.

The third-party vendors use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to tailor the ads based on your past visits to our website and elsewhere online and to measure ad conversion.

Children’s Privacy

We never intentionally collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. No one under age 16 may provide any personal information on the Website. If you are under 16, do not use or provide any information on this Website. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 16 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you are a California resident you have right to make personal information requests. You may only make a personal information request twice in a 12-month period. We will need to collect information from you so that we can verify your identity, and we will respond within 45 days of receiving your personal information request.

If you are a California resident you have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you about our collection and use of personal information over the past 12 months. Once we receive and confirm your verifiable consumer request, we will disclose to you:

  • The categories of sources for the personal information we collected about you.

To exercise the access, data portability, and deletion rights described above, please submit a verifiable consumer request to us by sending us a message using the contact information below.

Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.

We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 45 more days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. We will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option. Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding receipt of the verifiable consumer request. The response we provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format in which to provide your personal information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance, specifically by electronic mail communication.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights. Unless permitted by the CCPA, we will not:

  • Deny you goods or services.
  • Charge you different prices or rates for goods or services, including through granting discounts or other benefits, or imposing penalties.
  • Provide you a different level or quality of goods or services.
  • Suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services.
